Our Paris based Transaction Advisory Group is lead by twelve highly experienced and established Managing Directors and Senior Directors. The team has earned an exceptional reputation for excellent work & they are highly active in France, working for premium clients on high profile deals: large and mid-cap private equity, fast growth premium small cap deals, multinational corporates, and French LBO’s. Their work comprises French situations and cross border activity in addition to international situations around the world.

A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group (“TAG”) is the largest transaction advisory practice outside the Big 4 audit firms. Our award-winning practice includes over 800 professionals in 35 offices across the U.S., Middle East, Europe, Latin America, India and Asia Pacific.  A&M TAG have a unique opportunity to perform “smarter” due diligence by providing an integrated and differentiated approach. A&M TAG have a unique delivery model that enables extensive exposure to high profile clients and Managing Directors, thus empowering individuals to fast-track their careers and development.  We are expanding, and we are looking for experienced and ambitious Directors to join our TAG team in Paris.  Candidates should have a successful track record at a leading Advisory firm and they will be able to contribute to the growth of the practice through strengthening the French business, broadening routes to market and leveraging senior client relationships. The successful appointee will be an expert in selling and delivering financial due diligence advisory assignments.

  • Work closely with our Managing Directors in France and across the globe on business development activities including thought leadership, proposals, pitches and networking
  • Support our Managing Directors to lead and develop the French Transaction Advisory team, including recruiting, training, and coaching team members
  • Lead and deliver multiple Transaction Advisory engagements in France and internationally
  • Work with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap private equity houses, corporate clients and financial institutions
  • Use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills, in addition to analysing the key drivers and valuation considerations that drive a transaction
  • Work alongside operational/technical, commercial, tax and other due diligence professionals in integrated due diligence project teams enhancing your understanding of the broader due diligence and wider deal process
  • Network with our service lines and work on external marketing events to build cross-service line relationships
  • Be active in the external market, supporting and enhancing existing client relationships and developing new client relationships
  • Contribute to the development of the wider team through the provision of formal and informal training

The ideal candidate will have;

  • Experience leading teams on Transaction Advisory (Financial Due Diligence) projects across a variety of sectors at a Big 4 audit firm
  • Strong academic record and graduated from a leading “Grande Ecoles” in Business and / or Engineering, or equivalent
  • Well-developed stakeholder management skills including managing key client relationships and networking / business development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Native or fluent French & English is essential. Additional language skills are highly advantageous
  • Highly ambitious and motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, deep functional knowledge and insight, a blend of operational and commercial skills and an entrepreneurial approach.
