The Team
Business failures, financial frauds and accounting irregularities. These and other events have resulted in regulatory interventions, investigations, financial restatements and a sizeable number of lawsuits. Dealing with matters of a complex nature requires a broad range of skills and experience. Our pan European
Disputes & Investigations team has worked on some of the most significant, high-profile matters in the investigative and disputes area across many European countries and beyond. The practice comprises of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds, who bring deep expertise in conducting forensic accounting, disputes, arbitration, litigation and delivering expert witness reports. Our Paris team is lead by Andrew Flower, one of the top leading expert witnesses in international arbitration in Europe. He leads a high calibre team whose work is very respected in France and internationally.

The Role
We are growing quickly and as a result we have a number of opportunities in Paris for experienced Forensic Accountants with Disputes and Arbitration experience. You will:

  • Work closely with our Managing Director and Senior Directors on a variety of assignments in France and internationally  
  • Use forensic accounting skills to investigate fraud and other financial misrepresentation
  • Create and contribute to complex financial models for arbitration & litigation purposes
  • Produce detailed Valuation reports for a range of cross-border disputes
  • Assist in the preparation of Expert Witness reports of a financial or economic nature
  • Provide strategic financial or economic advice to lawyers & clients to support their legal strategy

The Requirements
The successful candidate will have a blend of the following skills:

  • Experience working on Forensic Disputes and Arbitration cases within a leading professional advisory firm
  • Extensive knowledge and skills in accounting and valuation
  • Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to synthesise information from several sources and draw coherent, well-evidenced conclusions
  • Well developed report writing skills including writing expert reports for international arbitration cases
  • Fluency in French and English is required (additional international language skills are highly desirable)

As you will have the opportunity to be part of international projects and work with clients across EMEA, the candidate should be willing to travel.
