A&M supports financial services organisations throughout the entire digital journey including defining a digital strategy, developing customer experiences and optimizing operations.  

 

This role sits at the intersection of our Digital and Financial Services team. The successful candidate will work with our existing FSI teams to build the profile and reputation of A&M in the Financial Services digital transformation space across EMEA.   

As part of a select and highly skilled team, you will have the opportunity to;  

  • Deliver high profile digitally-enabled transformation projects 

  • Review clients’ immediate and future issues and develop actionable options for the utilisation of digital technologies to improve performance & generate strategic advantage 

  • Develop business plans and financial projections including assessments of risks and opportunities. Contribute to performance monitoring following business plan implementation  

  • Providing insight on the optimisation of operations using digital technologies including data and analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Customer Experience  

  • Work with Senior Directors and Managing Directors to deliver European client projects through the management of multiple work streams 

  • Support business development activities including the creation of client pitches and proposals to win new mandates 

  • Offer clear ability to deliver the latest thinking within a highly competitive advisory marketplace and an appreciation of the challenges that businesses face in today’s market 

  • Lead high calibre A&M teams on client site, overseeing delivery and liaising with senior client stakeholders  

  • Contribute to the development of A&M’s Financial Services Digital strategy including creating & developing new & existing client relationships, broadening routes to market and leveraging senior client relationships  

  • Working closely with our European partnership group across Financial Services and Digital to develop client focused go to market propositions and solutions  

 

Requirements  

The successful candidate will be an execution-focused self-starter with entrepreneurial flair. They will be comfortable working independently as well as part of a high performing team. Critically, they will bring a network of contacts with a track record of successfully executing digital projects in the Financial Services sector. 

 

Specifically, the successful candidate will have: 

  • Successful track record of delivering transformation and digital projects in the financial services sector, preferably with a Financial Services institution or within a well-established consulting firm such as a top tier strategy firm, a leading specialist advisory firm or ‘Big 4’ consultancy 

  • An experienced consulting toolkit including how to frame a business issue, judiciously find and use internal and external data to test hypotheses and draw conclusions, business model using Excel, structure and write PowerPoint and Word presentations and reports 

  • Expertise that may include digital strategy, operating model, RPA/AI, and journey redesign 

  • Experience of managing teams and working across multiple locations in Europe including third-party and in-house teams 

  • A strong academic track record combined with an action-oriented approach and well-developed analytical skills 

  • Fluent business level English is essential. Any additional European language skills are highly desirable 

 

The idea candidate will be able to successfully identify client needs and win client trust. Ultimately, the successful appointee will be recognised by the client as the lead for value contributed on engagements and therefore build his/her own credible network of contacts and referral sources with clients, professionals and institutions.
