The Team

A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group (“TAG”) is the largest transaction advisory practice outside the Big 4 audit firms. Our award-winning practice includes over 600 professionals in 25 offices across the U.S., Europe, Latin America, India and Asia Pacific. We are an established and highly active Transaction Advisory practice working for premium clients including sovereign wealth funds, private equity firms, multinational corporations and family offices on high profile M&A and capital markets transactions. We are completely free from audit-based conflicts.

In 2021, we successfully launched our Transaction Advisory practice in the Middle East and our team is led by a highly established Dubai based Managing Director. Our Transaction Advisory team is an integrated part of our established and fast-growing offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Riyadh.

The Role

We are ambitious and keen to grow our Middle East TAG team. We are actively recruiting exceptional Transaction Advisory professionals in Riyadh across all levels from Analyst to Managing Director (Partner) with experience in Financial Due Diligence. Successful candidates will provide Financial Due Diligence and related services to sovereign wealth funds, global and regional private equity firms, multinational corporations and family offices on M&A and capital markets transactions in the Middle East and internationally.

This is a unique opportunity to join an established and successful global Transaction Advisory business in a new team and play an instrumental role in building a new practice. Our Transaction Advisory team members work in multi-disciplinary teams on projects across a number of geographies so you would have the opportunity to build and leverage broad international deal experience.

The Responsibilities

As part of a select and highly skilled team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work on multiple Transaction Advisory engagements in the Saudi Arabia, UAE and across the Middle East and internationally, working closely with our Managing Directors;

  • Gain constant exposure to our Managing Directors, leveraging their substantial deal experience providing you the opportunity to learn on the job as well as through formal technical and soft skills training programs offered by A&M globally;

  • Be proactively involved in commercial activities, business development, and marketing;

  • Use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills, in addition to gaining exposure to the key drivers and valuation considerations which drive a transaction;

  • Work alongside operational, commercial and tax due diligence professionals in integrated due diligence project teams enhancing your understanding of the broader due diligence and wider deal process;

  • Network internally with our service lines and work on external marketing events to build cross- service line relationships; and

  • Be active in the market, supporting and enhancing existing client relationships and in originating new client relationships.

The Requirements

  • KSA nationality

  • Experience in Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence) at a Big 4 audit firm is essential, preferably gained in the Middle East

  • A strong academic record and professional qualifications are helpful

  • Fluent business level English is essential. Additional language skills including Arabic are advantageous

  • Well-developed communication skills and the ability to work with diverse and complex stakeholder groups

  • Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills are critical

  • Experience with additional data analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage
