Financial Investors – Associate (Manchester)
Our Financial Investors team has a diverse and thriving portfolio of notable infrastructure fund and private equity clients based in London, locally in the Northwest as well as the other regions and overseas who expect a tailored and focused approach to tax advice. We help and support our clients by identifying their key tax concerns and advising on strategies to address those concerns. We help clients with a wide range of issues, from advising on the establishment of new funds and subsequent transactions undertaken as well as other ancillary services such as providing tax compliance services throughout the life of the fund.
Financial Investor tax is a multi-faceted team that encompasses three core service lines: Transactions Tax, Fund and Management advisory and International tax with client mandates that typically span across all three. This can result in matters that are extremely challenging and often involve complex interactions between the principal taxes as well as international taxes which requires liaising with both local and overseas advisors.
As a result of this breadth, along with A&M’s growth, we are again expanding our tax practice rapidly and are looking to recruit Associates into our Manchester office. Our team of experts principally support investment funds, on a wide-range of mandates including: fund structuring, buy-side/sell-side due diligence, deal structuring, tax modelling and ad-hoc fund advisory.
The ideal candidate will be bright, diligent, action-orientated, and hands-on. The individual will preferably have a background in transaction tax and also have experience with infrastructure or private equity clients (although not essential) and will be able to quickly establish, develop and enhance client relationships.
