Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), a leading independent global professional services firm, specializing in providing turnaround management, performance improvement and advisory services, is seeking experienced consultants to join its Public Sector Services (PSS) team with project support roles within the Federal Practice. In this role, consultants will work closely within a management team to solve highly complex government challenges through strategy and implementation efforts across projects.

Our Public Sector professionals:

  • Support Federal governments leaders and teams with managing transformation initiatives
  • Assess processes and design improvement strategies
  • Support the development of business case analyses, strategy and implementation plans
  • Develop budget, cost management and workforce solutions
  • Create organizational change management and communication plans
  • Assist in implementation of operational or organizational restructuring

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience within a Public Sector practice at a Big 4 or Strategy (ex. MBB) firm.
  • Strategy, performance improvement, PPBE, analytics, or/and organizational transformation projects experience with Federal clients.
  • Ability to lead complex project tasks with limited oversight
