Dealing with matters of a complex nature requires a broad range of skills and experience.

Our DI team in Europe spans Athens, Paris, London, Munich, Frankfurt, Geneva, Zurich and Madrid. We have worked on some of the most significant, high-profile matters in the investigative and disputes areas across many European countries and beyond.

We are a leading provider of Forensic Accounting, Forensic Technology, Investigations, Dispute Resolution, Cyber Risk Management, and Privacy & Data Compliance services. We have a reputation for high-quality work in a non-Audit environment and our approach is characterized by a high level of objectivity, diligence and intensive analysis.

We are currently seeking a Forensic Accounting Associate for our DI team in Athens. Using forensic accounting skills to investigate fraud and other financial misrepresentation, you will work on a variety of assignments across industries within Greece and internationally, assisting with:

  • Compiling, analyzing and documenting information in investigations, disputes or accounting related matters
  • Reviewing documents to identify items relevant to an investigation or dispute consulting matter
  • Performing complex financial modelling and analyses
  • Drafting summaries, reports and other client deliverables
  • Researching technical and industry specific issues
  • Developing and suggesting solutions to complex problems by thinking “outside the box”

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally an audit or forensic accounting background and be either qualified (ACA/ACCA) or close to qualification
  • Fluency in Greek and English is essential, and at least one other European language is beneficial
  • An understanding of and desire to work in the field of forensic and dispute consulting
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in combination with a positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills combined with the ability to synthesize information from several sources and draw coherent, well-evidenced conclusions
  • Well-developed report writing skills and ability to prepare tables, exhibits and charts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the engagement team
  • Ability to balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
