Corporate Marketing, Website Executive

Alvarez and Marsal (A&M) is seeking an experienced Marketing Website Executive to join our Corporate Marketing team. This role will be based out of our London office and be responsible for the daily management of our Drupal content management system in support of campaign requests globally. Responsibilities will range from the creation of new pages using our standard templates, to troubleshooting technical issues impacting our website, to working with our development team and outside vendors to create new features and assets. This person will need the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with the Global Marketing Team members and external stakeholders across various regions. Overall attention to quality, process and client first service is a primary focus.

The Role

  • General administration and development of Drupal and associated requirements and duties
  • Detailed understanding of website tracking and analytics, with experience in SEO
  • Work with team members to understand project requirements and provide input to help set expectations for final deliverables and effort
  • Ability to draft and document project requirements for client review and approval
  • Propose and create new page layouts and functionality within Drupal to continue the evolution of the site, features and user experience
  • Work with technical development team and act as a liaison and “translator” between the line of business owners and developers to ensure needs are communicated, understood and deliverables meet requirements

The Requirements

  • 5+ years of managing and working with a content management system (CMS); Drupal experience preferred and a plus but not essential
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-brand organization with multiple services and capabilities
  • Experience supporting the corporate marketing function of a professional services organization is a plus
  • Proven ability to scope and deliver CMS-based projects
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis

Other Skills and Experience

  • Understanding URL structures and ability to set up redirects and change URL aliases
  • Ability to flush search caches, CDN (Content Delivery Network) caches (e.g., Acquia and Akamai), and CMS caches
  • Must have an intermediate (not beginner) level understanding of HTML 4
  • Experience using HTML coding to create tables, buttons and similar items with relative ease
  • Understanding of the “mailto://...” directive and how it works; the anatomy of a mailto: link
  • Experience editing and deploying embed code from sites like YouTube, Apple Music and Spotify
  • Experience with Drupal Scheduler (or similar schedulers in CMS platforms)
  • Experience using metadata functions for changing and tags
  • Understand what a “nodequeue” is and how to scan the site for new content in order to update nodequeues weekly
  • Good troubleshooting skills and ability to assess the root cause of issues and work with the necessary teams to come up with a fix with minimal guidance
  • An eye toward Mobile Design and ability to QA site pages for mobile function and display regularly
