A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group (“TAG”) is the largest transaction advisory practice outside the Big 4 audit firms. We are ambitious and keen to expand our established UK teams in London and Birmingham so we are looking to hire Senior Associates or Managers with experience in Transactions Advisory to support our Directors & wider team.  Successful candidates will deliver on UK and pan European projects to leading Private Equity clients, Financial Institutions and Corporates.

As part of a select and highly skilled team, you will have the opportunity to;

  • Contribute and lead work streams on Transaction Advisory engagements, working closely with many of our Managing Directors and Senior Directors
  • Work with a variety of large and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions ensuring broad industry exposure
  • Gain constant exposure to our Managing Directors, leveraging their substantial deal experience
  • Contribute to commercial activities including business development and marketing
  • Use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills, in addition to gaining exposure to the key drivers and valuation considerations which drive a transaction
  • Coach & develop more junior colleagues while befitting from established formal and informal training programme and mentorship
  • Work alongside operational and commercial professionals in combined project teams enhancing your understanding of the broader due diligence and wider deal process
  • Network with our service lines and to work on external marketing events to build cross- service line relationships.
  • Be active in the market, supporting and enhancing existing client relationships and initiate & develop new client relationships.

Essential experience:

  • Experience in Transaction Advisory / Financial Due Diligence (Transaction Services) is essential in addition to experience across Private Equity or blue-chip Corporates
  • Trained at a Big 4 firm or an established Transaction Advisory (transaction services) practice
  • Qualified accountant /or an exceptional academic record – professional qualifications can include and are not limited to: ACA or ACCA
  • Fluent business level English, other European languages are advantageous
  • Experience of actively and pro-actively participating in business development activities
