We are ambitious and keen to expand our established UK teams in London and Birmingham, so we are looking to hire Assistant Directors / Directors with experience in Transactions Advisory to support our Managing Directors & wider team.  Successful candidates will deliver on UK and pan European projects to leading Private Equity clients, Financial Institutions and Corporates.

As part of a select and highly skilled team, the successful appointee will;

  • Lead teams and deliver complex Transaction Advisory engagements, working closely with our Managing Directors
  • Evaluation potential transactions in the context of a clients’ investment strategy, assist with financial due diligence & help to identify key risks and potential deal breakers, assessing the strengths and weaknesses of a business against industry benchmarks
  • Gain broad industry exposure working with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions
  • Expand the commercial aspects of their financial analysis skills, in addition to gaining exposure to the key drivers and valuation considerations which drive a transaction
  • Collaborate with operational and commercial professionals in combined project teams enhancing their understanding of the broader due diligence and wider deal process
  • Coach & develop more junior colleagues while befitting from established formal and informal training programme and mentorship
  • Internally network with our other service lines and work on external marketing events to build their network internally & externally

Essential experience:

  • Qualified accountant and/or an exceptional academic record – professional qualifications can include and are not limited to ACA and ACCA
  • Proven senior level experience in Transaction Advisory / Financial Due Diligence is essential in addition to experience across Private Equity and/ or blue-chip Corporates
  • Trained at a Big 4 firm or an established Transaction Advisory (Transaction Services) practice
  • Fluent business level English is essential. Additional European language skills including French, German, Dutch, Swedish, Italian or Spanish are highly desirable
