Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), a leading independent global professional services firm, specializing in providing turnaround management, performance improvement and advisory services, is seeking a Contract Specialist for the Human Resources team.

The Contracts Specialist is responsible for providing key administrative support to the Human Resources team through administering all offer paperwork to include offer letters, addendum letters, offer letter updates, sub-contractor agreements and any other documents relating to offers and contracts for the human resources team.

The right candidate will have an eye for detail, produce work of the highest quality and be dedicated to keeping data systems up to date while adhering to standard confidentiality and data security procedures.  The ability to work under pressure and time critical conditions is important but overall the need to be flexible and prioritize demanding tasks and meet deadlines is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using the in-house HRIS system (Workday) as a primary tool, the successful candidate will create offer letters and all other formal notification documents
  • Updating Workday and other databases
  • Working closely with Talent Acquisition, HR and the A&M Legal team, the successful candidate will keep everyone up to date on priorities and deadlines and prioritize workload effectively
  • Additional adhoc administrative matters from time to time as workload permits

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with contracts, offer letters, or legal documents required. Paralegal skill set is highly desirable
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High attention to detail with thoroughness and the ability to “think outside of the box’
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Confident communicator with people at all levels and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies, maintaining a high level of discretion
