A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice, with offices throughout the US, focuses on serving upper middle market and large cap private equity firms who have engaged A&M to help improve operating results at their portfolio companies. Private Equity Focused Professionals
We're developing a cutting-edge Generative AI tool designed to streamline analysis and research by automating portions of data analysis, identifying opportunities, and facilitating interactive data search. Our platform aims to enhance private equity decision-making through advanced AI techniques, transforming complex use case scenarios into streamlined, insightful processes.
As advisors to private equity funds, we bring a structured and disciplined approach to create and capture value. We provide private equity buyers with a broad continuum of knowledge and tools for due diligence (IT and operational), merger integration / carve-out planning and execution, transition service agreement negotiation & governance, ERP implementations, IT operations & cost reduction, and enterprise architecture. We support full spectrum of the deal lifecycle from pre-deal technology, operational and synergy reviews, through 'Day-1' planning, to post-deal implementations.
By joining our Generative AI team, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of Generative AI technology and its application in the private equity industry, working closely with leaders in the field to shape the future of consulting.
We are seeking an experienced Generative AI focused Technology Director with a background in AI technologies and machine learning to lead the development of our innovative Generative AI platform aimed at supporting analysis and research in the private equity space. As the Technology Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the platform, from its architecture to its implementation, and will manage a team of external developers.
Architect and design the technical blueprint of the Generative AI platform, ensuring it aligns with business requirements and industry trends. Oversee the coding and development of the platform, ensuring code quality, robustness, and scalability. Manage and coordinate with third-party developers, ensuring they adhere to established standards and timelines. Oversee the infrastructure of the platform, ensuring it supports the needs of the platform and can scale as required. Collaborate closely with the A&M staff to understand and incorporate the needs of private equity clients into the platform. Develop and manage a roadmap for the AI platform's future features and improvements.
10+ years of professional experience in a technology leadership role, with at least 2 years specializing in AI and machine learning. Extensive knowledge of AI architectures, machine learning algorithms, and Generative AI platforms. Experience managing and coordinating with third-party developers. Track record of successfully managing complex technology projects. Ability to work effectively with C-suite executives and private equity deal and operating partners. Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in staff recruitment, retention, and coaching. Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Flexibility to travel at least 50% of the time.
