Our Corporate Transformation Tax professionals work seamlessly alongside Consulting colleagues to

deliver upfront liquidity and structural enhancements on each engagement.  This new pillar in our Tax

practice is comprised of Tax Strategy, Trade & Customs, Credits & Incentives and Tax Performance

Improvement professionals. 

What Will You Be Doing? 

A&M Tax is seeking a seasoned advisor with a strategic understanding of international, federal, state and local and M&A tax.

The ideal candidate will have the experience and ability to identify and communicate integrated tax solutions and issues related to varied business models to senior management.

As a Managing Director within Corporate Transformation Tax, you will:

  • Work with diverse groups across Tax and Consulting in owning project management and delivery of integrated services.
  • Be responsible for large corporate clients (owning Project Management – but not necessarily being the project manager).
  • Be responsible for cross-functional work product delivery.

Qualifications: 

An understanding of the following areas (no need to be an expert in each area but the professional needs to understand all these areas of tax):

  • International Tax
  • Federal Tax
  • State & Local Tax
  • M&A Tax

Comfort in working with non-tax consultants, integrating tax solutions into an operational improvement or transformation consulting offering.

Exposure to any of the following industries is desired:

  • Industrials
  • Consumer Markets (Retail)
  • Technology
  • Automotive

Professional Skills

  • Strong written, oral and analytical skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Structured project management (time, team and work-stream’s management)
  • Initiative and drive
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to deliver time-pressured project on-time and on-quality
  • Flexible and creative thinking
  • Client relationship building
  • Ability to identify tax impacts on key operational performance drivers
  • Developing findings and making strategic recommendations

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10-15 years tax consulting and/or industry experience
  • Experience as a Corporate Tax Advisor for Senior Executives, Senior Management, C-Suite
  • Must be a CPA and/or a barred JD
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Existing large corporate relationships preferred
