The opportunity
Our European Valuation & Modeling Services business is dynamic and is expanding rapidly. Over the last 9 years we have established and built teams in London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Munich, Madrid and Paris. Our European team works as one joint team, with continuous peer interaction between offices, weekly European-wide update calls and regular social events and seamless cross-border staffing on international projects.
Our valuation and modeling services are focused on the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions, Contentious Valuations, Complex Financial Instruments, Financial and Tax reporting and Business Modelling. After several years of rapid expansion we have established A&M as one of the leading providers of valuation & modeling services in Europe.
Our German based Valuation & Modeling Services team has been involved in various landmark transactions and engagements. Due to our freedom from audit restrictions, high-quality work and ability to respond quickly to client requirements, we are expanding rapidly. Therefore, we seek to enlarge our team in Frankfurt and Munich with experienced Valuations professionals at (Senior) Associate level.
Our base salaries are highly competitive with un-capped bonuses that are well known for both its fairness and generosity. Employees are rewarded for their contribution to growing both the Valuations business and A&M as a whole.
Responsibilities:
- Work on diverse valuation and modeling engagements both in Germany and across Europe
- Perform high-quality data and valuation analyses based on various valuation methodologies
- Engage in challenging modeling engagements, including the preparation of deal models and business plans
- Write client reports and other deliverables for high profile assignments
- Build relationships with clients through exceptional day-to-day project management and execution
- Gain exposure to senior members of the team, leveraging on their substantial experience to learn on the job in addition to formal technical and soft skills training programs offered by A&M globally
- You will be encouraged to network internally with our other service lines and to participate in external marketing events
Typical projects include:
- Valuations in a Restructuring context
- Commercial valuations for Mergers & Acquisitions
- Valuations for Disputes & Litigation
- Alternative Investments
- PE Portfolio Valuations
- Complex Financial Instruments
- Intellectual Property Valuations
- Fairness Opinions and Commercial Valuations
Qualifications:
- Valuations and modelling experience gained at a Big 4 or other reputable consulting firm, investment bank or independent valuation firm
- Strong educational background and exceptional academic record, including a strong focus on Finance and/or Mathematics
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Fluent business level English & German is essential. Additional European language or Chinese language skills are highly valued
