Our Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice is comprised of sector experts and specialized consultants across the Globe. We combine strategic and operational expertise with a deep technical knowledge to support developers, sponsors, lenders, and projects leader to select, structure, improve and execute Capital Projects in a more efficient and sustainable way.
We have recently expanded to Australia and are looking for a Senior Director to be dedicated to the Power sector, which includes power generation assets (wind, solar, firming, gas-thermal, pumped-hydro), transmission lines, and investments associated to clean energy transition, such as next generation of hydrogen plants. This position demands regulatory knowledge and past experience in project modelling and capital planning, project delivery model, procurement strategy and construction advisory.
Activities and Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities for the A&M Infra and other Business Units.
Lead the execution of work fronts with expertise, identifying improvement initiatives and actively engaging with the client in all aspects of the project.
Lead meetings and presentations with both client and A&M's managerial and executive levels, demonstrating confidence and mastery of the topics discussed.
Assume a leadership role with teams and clients, participating in effective negotiations and collaborations between leaders.
Collaborate with other business units in order to build a sustainable environment to help A&M grow as a wide consulting platform.
Support team members in your career development and prepare them to assume new roles and responsibilities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Develop and manage strategic partnerships for business growth.
Participate in events and associations to foster relationships and identify opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related major.
Proven experience in business development and project management.
Strong excel and power point skills required.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in consulting firms, with strong business acumen, a self-started, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Availability for travel.
Ability to facilitate analyses to guide project delivery, proposing action plans and demonstrating confidence in decision-making.
Ability to utilize creative thinking to co-create with clients, offering internal solutions or new business opportunities to address their needs.
