The A&M India practice is looking for experienced hires with prior experience in manufacturing/metal & mining/management consulting who are keen to work in India on areas such as asset health & reliability, digital transformation, restructuring, operational performance improvement, turnarounds, and interim management.

As part of CoE on metal & mining, you will be a key member of our team, specializing in maintenance strategies, asset health and reliability practice. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on maintenance best practices, implementing asset health monitoring systems, and developing strategies to maximize asset reliability, minimize downtime, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their current maintenance practices and identify areas for improvement. Develop tailored maintenance strategies that align with the specific needs and objectives of each organization. This includes creating preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance plans.
- Implement advanced asset health monitoring systems, including sensors, data collection tools, and predictive analytics, to continuously monitor the condition and performance of critical assets. Utilize this data to detect anomalies, predict failures, and schedule maintenance proactively.
- Apply reliability-centered maintenance principles to identify critical assets, their failure modes, and the most appropriate maintenance strategies to ensure optimal asset performance and longevity.
- Conduct root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying reasons for asset failures or breakdowns. Use these insights to develop strategies that address the root causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and implement asset lifecycle management strategies, including asset replacement planning, refurbishment, and disposal, to optimize asset performance and reduce total cost of ownership.
- Analyze maintenance data, historical records, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimizing maintenance processes, resource allocation, and spare parts management.
- Leverage data analytics and predictive maintenance techniques to make informed decisions on maintenance activities, ensuring that maintenance efforts are targeted efficiently and effectively.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance practices, asset reliability, and overall operational efficiency. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation in asset management.
- Provide training and mentorship to maintenance teams and personnel, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to implement best-in-class maintenance practices
Location: Mumbai / New Delhi / Bengaluru
- B. Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or related field with degree (From IITs/equivalent institutes and MBA from IIMs/equivalent institutes)
- 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Engineer, or Asset Management Consultant, with a focus on asset-intensive industries.
- Strong understanding of maintenance strategies, asset health monitoring, predictive maintenance techniques, and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, reliability software, and maintenance management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven and analytical approach.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
