Our Global Enterprise Shared Services (GESS) group at A&M is here to provide critical business support to the core functions within our company.  As A&M grows, employees will continue to see firm programs and processes evolve to support the employee lifecycle and the way we serve clients. A&M’s DQS service is based on a data-driven rules engine that provides analysis of existing datasets based on business/system requirements. The enterprise architecture team can provide in-depth analysis of data sources and provide reports on where data may be out of compliance to allow for cleaner, more accurate data.

As a Data Specialist, you will have the opportunity to shape our Azure database environment and leverage the power of data and cloud technology. You will be responsible for:
  • Designing and implementing a robust Azure data stack from scratch.
  • Working closely with our internal design experts and Microsoft's professionals to create synergistic solutions.
  • Managing ETL processes, integrating data marts, and pushing the boundaries of data innovation.
  • Aligning IT and business needs, ensuring a smooth and efficient data flow.
  • Maintaining operational excellence, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Demonstrating your technical skills in SQL, Azure tools, Python, PowerBI, and more.
  • Providing accurate project estimation and planning.
You should have:
  • Strong technical skills in SQL and Azure Data Lakes, Synapse, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to solve complex problems with creativity and innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
