Our Infrastructure and Capital Projects practice is comprised of over than 600 sector experts and specialized consultants across the Globe. We combine strategic and operational expertise with a deep technical knowledge to support developers, sponsors, lenders, and projects leader to select, structure, improve and execute Capital Projects in a more efficient and sustainable way. 

We have recently expanded to Australia and are looking for Manager to be dedicated to the mining sector.  

 

Activities and Responsibilities  

  • Lead the execution of mining major projects, ensuring efficient delivery and identifying areas for operational enhancement. 

  • Participate in meetings and presentations with clients and A&M's managerial levels, showcasing expertise in the mining industry 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project outcomes and contribute to effective negotiations. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, fostering client satisfaction and trust in projects. 

  • Engage with industry-specific events and forums to expand professional networks and stay updated on mining trends. 

  • Contribute to identifying and pursuing business opportunities to drive growth. 

  • Stay current with mining industry developments, regulations, and best practices. 

  • Participate in the development and refinement of mining-focused consulting solutions. 

  • Utilise creative thinking to address unique challenges in the sector. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering, or related major 

  • Proven experience in mining major project management and relevant business development. 

  • Proven experience in business development and project management. 

  • Strong excel and power point skills required 

  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in consulting firms, with strong business acumen, a self-started, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.  

  • Availability for travel. 

  • Ability to facilitate analyses to guide project delivery, proposing action plans and demonstrating confidence in decision-making. 

  • Ability to utilize creative thinking to co-create with clients, offering internal solutions or new business opportunities to address their needs.
