The Team

A&M’s Global Disputes & Investigations (“D&I”) practice is a leading provider of Cyber Risk Management, Forensic Technology, Forensic Accounting & Investigations, Dispute Advisory, Economic Consulting, and Privacy & Data Compliance services. The firm has an established reputation for high quality work in a non-Audit environment. Our approach is characterised by a high level of objectivity, diligence and intensive analysis.

The Role and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Business Development Assistant to support the Business Development Director in London. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Database management: Maintain and update various information databases, in particular our CRM system, Salesforce. Utilise Salesforce and intelligence platforms like Introhive and Solomonic to provide reports and information on clients and prospects and assist with opportunity spotting.
  • Pitch documents and marketing collateral: Produce and maintain high-quality BD and marketing materials such as case studies, bios, brochures and client presentations. Prepare client proposals and pitches.
  • Knowledge management: Monitor and research key clients and sector areas. Identify and track suitable prospects.
  • Content writing and editing: Produce and edit attractive content tailored to an audience in Legal services.

The Requirements

  • Previous experience of preparing pitch documents or marketing materials in a professional services, business advisory or legal services firms
  • Previous experience of writing and editing content for pitch documents and marketing collateral is essential
  • Good Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential
  • Experience of using a CRM system, ideally Salesforce
  • Strong communication and analytical capabilities with excellent attention to detail
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills combined with the ability to create strong working relationships at all levels 
  • Ability to take ownership of deliverables and work to tight deadlines in combination with a positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation
  • Fluency in English is essential. Other European languages are desirable
  • University degree
