A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement practice (PEPI) focuses on serving upper middle market and large cap private equity firms who have engaged A&M to help improve operating results at their portfolio companies. Our area of expertise is supporting private equity owned portfolio companies to deliver a growth strategy as well as supporting under-performing with a need to reorganize or take costs out. Working directly with company management, A&M helps stabilize financial and operational performance by developing and implementing comprehensive profitability and working capital improvement measures.
As an Intern – Data Analytics (m/f/d) you will be part of the PEPI team and support in varies areas. As part of the team, your key focus will be:
Developing new Data Analytics tools for key performance improvement topics
Enhancing existing Data Analytics tools with new features
Create analysis to help solve multitude of business problems
Data processing, modelling and analysis to develop well founded recommendations
Visualization of business-related data to stakeholder’s requirements
At best you already have some relevant consulting experience and the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and currently enrolled in a Master’s program or MBA class with a clear focus on Data Analytics
Ability to understand and solve business problems with an analytical approach
Experience in Relational Databases/SQL, including working with large datasets
Programming skills in at least one of the following languages: R, Python, VBA
Experience in Tableau or other data visualisation tools: e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Spotfire
A solid understanding of Business Administration
Ideally, you have some first hands on experience of Data Analytics projects
Fluency in German and English
Excellent oral and written communication skills
