Momentum is the latest team from A&M Digital and Technology Services (DTS) and provides cutting-edge IT and digital services to our clients. Momentum will work on client site as the digital & technology delivery arm of A&M to provide tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. The Momentum team is composed of highly skilled technology professionals ranging from IT project manager to UX expert. The A&M Momentum team will work alongside the rest of DTS to support Private Equity funds, Corporates and Financial Services clients across Europe to: 

  • Realign the performance of the technology / IT function to support operational improvement programmes within business functions 
  • Carry out effective technology project planning and estimation and to confidently stand behind our estimates during the execution phase 
  • Shape and deliver enterprise-wide systems & strategic programmes to deliver performance improvement initiatives via automation, new technology adoption or process improvements 
  • We also provide design and implementation services for Transformative Digital initiatives within Data Science, Analytics, Digital Workforce and Artificial Intelligence and Digitisation 

Reason for the opportunity 
Against a backdrop of unprecedented growth, an opportunity exists for us to develop our Momentum team in Ireland. The successful appointee will be an experienced Business Analyst at the Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant level. They will play a key part in both client site project delivery and in the expansion of the Momentum team.  

Key daily responsibilities include: 

  • Contribute to client engagements & teams on client sites across Europe
  • Address complex technology issues and manage key client relationships and expectations 
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops using structure methodologies to understand existing processes, associated inputs & outputs to a detailed level (Level 4) 
  • Leverage industry experience and best practice frameworks to challenge business stakeholders to identify optimisation steps 
  • Document process flows and dependencies, while being able to articulate future change expectations  
  • Support documentation of RFP and evaluating vendors  
  • Define reporting requirements and support data teams to define associated data models 
  • Leverage your broad technical knowledge to identify existing systems and propose appropriate changes/updates to the current set of business technologies  
  • Document test cases and sign-off on first pass delivery acceptance 
  • Support process owners to realise change within their teams 

Experience: 

  • Hands-on business process analysis experience in at least two business functions i.e., Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Procurement, HR (in order of preference) 
  • Specific knowledge of at least one of the following ERP products; SAP S/4 HANA, MS Dynamics 365, Oracle NetSuite or Infor 
  • Understanding of Master Data Management approaches and ability to diagnose data quality issues 
  • Well-developed stakeholder management skills including workshop facilitation, written communication, and managing client expectations 
  • A successful track record in supporting IT / Technology programmes covering: 
    • Process mapping to Level 4 with clear dependencies 
    • Ability to work at pace and minimise business disruption 
    • Translating business requirements into technical documentation for 3rd party delivery teams 
    • Ability to grasp business issues and assess root cause, while determining the technical impact 
  • Proven ability to work in international teams and create measurable and identifiable improvements in Technology & IT 
  • Strong academic record, or holds a STEM degree 
  • Fluent business level English is essential. Additional European language skills including French, Spanish, Dutch, German or Italian are a plus 
  • Willingness to travel 25-50%, dependent upon client needs, and the right to work in Europe (e.g., on-site requirement workshops)
