Alvarez and Marsal is looking for a confident, proactive, polished hospitality professional with an eye for detail.

You will be passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience for every individual.

To thrive in this dynamic position, you will need to be organised, adaptable and able to think on your feet.

You will be a confident, self-starter, able to draw on your own experience and work both independently and as part of a team in a busy and demanding service environment.

You will have prior hospitality experience in a corporate environment. Fine dining experience is a bonus.

Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Working closely with our Front of House Reception Team to seamlessly coordinate and service client meetings

  • Ability to work flexible hours – for early morning / evening events as required

  • Maintaining good relationship with client and colleagues

  • Assist with the set-up, servicing and breakdown of all meetings and functions including catering and refreshments with a close eye on presentation detail

  • Setting up meeting rooms, catering, refreshments with a close eye on presentation detail

  • To be professionally presented and visible at all times, positively and proactively driving customer satisfaction and experience

  • Place and coordinate all catering orders for office events

  • Manage deliveries and collections for office refreshments and catering

  • Take inventory for all catering and refreshment supplies

  • Morning setup of Pantry (coffee machine setup and clean) and continually through the day

  • Regular cleaning of the pantry and service areas

  • Organising your time effectively to ensure all orders are carried out

  • Ad-hoc support to entire Operations team as requested by Office Manager

  • Flexibility to fill-in to other roles within the team to cover holiday and sickness where necessary

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Hospitality experience

  • Team player with a positive attitude and proactive approach to drive customer satisfaction and experience

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Ability to interact at all levels

  • Basic facilities knowledge

  • Excellent personal presentation with a polite, relaxed manner

  • Good level of IT literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Understanding of health, hygiene and safety regulations (Ideally already hold certificates for Level 2 Food Safety and Health & Safety)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
