We launched our TAG practice in Italy in 2021 and we have successfully grown this team by recruiting high performers from our competition who were attracted by our reputation in Transaction Advisory and our independence from Audit conflicts.  Our Milan based team is now highly active in the Italian market, working for premium clients on notable deals: large and mid-cap private equity, fast growth premium small cap deals, multinational corporates. Their work comprises Italian situations and cross border activity in addition to international situations around the world.

TAG Italy is a fully integrated part of our Global Transactions Advisory Group and we are the largest transaction advisory practice outside the audit firms. We are unrestricted by any conflict with audit mandates and the resulting issues caused that are typical in many of our competitors. We are also able to operate cross-border seamlessly. A&M are the leading provider of Financial Due Diligence globally outside the big four & the no.1 firm to develop a European career in Transaction Advisory today.

A&M TAG have a unique delivery model that enables junior members of the team to gain extensive exposure to Managing Directors and Senior Directors thus empowering individuals to fast track their careers and development.  We are expanding, and we are looking for experienced and ambitious Interns to join our Transactions Advisory team in Milan for six months.

The successful Intern will:

  • Join a growing team with strong leadership, bright, energetic people with a truly entrepreneurial spirit
  • Gain experience in M&A research and engagement support for our Transaction Advisory Group
  • Gain exposure to international projects on behalf of many of the most prominent organisations across worldwide
  • We operate as a Global team and the individual will also gain insight to projects across Europe and internationally.

The main tasks will include: 

  • Performing research on potential targets and helping prepare “points of view” documents on such targets
  • Assisting on managing intelligence on forthcoming deals, and working on targeting of private equity firms, private equity held businesses, and large corporates active in M&A
  • There would also be some scope to assist on financial due diligence assignments.

Requirements: 

  • Fluent business level in English and Italian is essential
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interest in a career within Transactions Advisory
