Are you a highly motivated and analytical individual with a passion for making a positive impact? Alvarez & Marsal’s Restructuring & Insolvency practice is seeking personable, inquisitive, and open-minded individuals who are in their penultimate year of university and seeking a one-year, paid placement. We are currently recruiting for an August 2024 start date.

Your Impact: 

As a Placement Student within the Restructuring & Insolvency team, you will be an essential part of our mission to deliver effective restructuring solutions and maximise recoveries when insolvency becomes unavoidable. Your assignments will involve diverse tasks, from option analysis and contingency planning, to formal insolvency appointments. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Eligibility to work in the UK 

  • A-level ABB (or equivalent) 

  • Strong proficiency in business-level English, with other languages being desirable 

  • Proficiency in Excel and Word (intermediate level), with database skills considered advantageous 

  • Relevant work experience is preferred, but not a necessity 

  • Evidence of significant non-academic achievements
