Billing Assistant - Maternity Cover - 1 year FTC - London, Hybrid

The Role

Joining an established Finance team of over 50 based in the European Head Office in London, this role supports the UK, Europe, Eurasia, UAE and Cayman Islands. The successful applicant will report to the Billing Supervisor/Manager and work alongside the other Billing Assistants to help with the day-to-day activities in the Accounts Receivable team. The function of the Billing team is integral the operation of our business and our aim is to provide the highest quality service to our clients (both internal and external). This role requires strong focus, attention to detail and a high customer service-oriented approach.

The Responsibilities

  • Preparing invoices for Alvarez & Marsal offices in UK, Europe, Eurasia, UAE and Cayman Islands
  • Processing of invoices, including liaising with Billable Staff to ensure all invoice details are accurate
  • Overseeing and effecting compliant client take on procedures
  • Assisting with the month end procedures
  • Reporting to the Billing Supervisor and carrying out ad hoc duties as required

The Requirements

  • Excellent levels of accuracy with strong organisational skills
  • You will be a natural team player who can interact easily with your colleagues and have strong communication skills, and a good sense of humour
  • Deadline orientated and able to prioritise
  • Competency with Excel and Word
  • Good education and either studying AAT or looking to start in the near future
