What is Private Client Services Practice?

Our tax practice is unique in that we offer the opportunity to work without audit conflict and truly

We’re currently growing our Private Client Services (PCS) practice in West Palm Beach, FL and
Miami, FL, which focuses on family office services and tax compliance and tax advisory
services. The PCS team works with high net worth individuals and families and their private
companies, serving as their advisor, advocate, teammate and partner. We are dedicated to
helping our clients achieve their long-term goals by delivering highly personalized solutions that
suit their unique needs. Due to our tremendous growth, we're seeking an Associate to join our
team.

Considering the pace of targeted growth, we are keen to find people who are
entrepreneurial, driven by a passion to drive significant growth (people who can think in
multiples of growth rather than percentages), are comfortable with ambiguity, will roll up
the sleeves and be hands on to get things done and can be independent requiring limited
cover.

The role will be initially based in Delhi NCR. However, the person should be open to travel as
and when needed. Willing and ability to travel abroad (US).

As an Associate in the Family Office group within Private Client Services you will:

  • Record and memorialize transactions as efficiently and effectively as possible. Act as the conduit for the family and other third-party professionals for the family.
  • Responsible for providing multiple clients with a variety of accounting and administrative services including but not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for the full accounting processes, i.e. timely posting of all financial transactions to G/L, maintain the general ledger, generate & post all journal entries, coordinate monthly close, and prepare financial reports
  • Manage the accounting/bookkeeping functions for specific families that includes:
  • accounts payables, ensuring accurate, authorized invoices and payments are processed in a timely manner
  • Manage and reconcile numerous bank accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reports with related work papers
  • Assist in preparation of annual tax package and supporting documents
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts and documenting business transactions
  • Establish, modify, document, and coordinate implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
  • Have direct contact with the high-net-worth clients
  • Handle special projects and any other duties as needed
  • Attend client calls to understand critical areas of importance and apply technical knowledge to specific client situations
  • Assist with creating deliverables that are concise, complete and address the elements deemed critical by the client
  • Seek out opportunities to understand others’ experiences, perspectives and differences
  • Build internal relationships with other members of the team

Qualifications/ Ideal Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Masters in Accounting a plus
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience, Private Client Service/Family Office experience, a plus
  • CPA (or in the process of pursuing)
  • High level of integrity and respect for the confidential nature of the information our
  • Private Client Services Group is privy to
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate
  • complex information clearly and concisely
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office products (with an emphasis on Excel)
  • Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines
  • High motivation to learn and grow in a fast paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills
  • Bilingual, a plus
