Position Overview         

A&M is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Finance team in Tampa, Florida. The role is responsible for supporting our Financial Analysis team with designing and building reports in Power BI and collaborating with IT on troubleshooting and resolving issues. This position reports directly to the Senior Financial Data Analyst.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Financial Analysis team, design and build financial reports, KPI dashboards, perform various data analyses in Power BI
  • Assist team with data collection and preparation. scraping data from Excel files, normalizing it and loading it into the team’s Data Mart 
  • Assist with documentation of processes and procedures; contribute to the development and maintenance of data dictionaries and metadata repositories
  • Assist team with automating report security process, using Power Automate to track and manage security
  • Work closely with data engineers on the Data Warehouse team to optimize data storage and retrieval processes
  • Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues.
  • General support for code writing
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to interpret and use financial reports and dashboards effectively

Qualifications:

  • 0-4 years’ experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or MIS
  • Experience in a Finance related role or having familiarity with Accounting concepts
  • Comfortable with data analysis, sifting through and analyzing large sets of data
  • Experience with SQL and Power BI or Tableau
  • Familiarity with general data analysis tooling

The salary range is $70,000 - $80,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.  Please ask your recruiter for details.
