What we do

Within DI, our growing Forensic Technology Services (FTS) team offers forensic accounting and investigations, litigation consulting, and forensic technology services. Our team comprises experienced computer forensics, eDiscovery, data science, cybersecurity and privacy professionals, hailing from the world’s largest law firms, professional services firms, leading eDiscovery support providers, Fortune 500 corporations, and law enforcement/government agencies. Our expertise spans electronic discovery and disclosure management, digital forensics, forensic data analytics, cyber risk and incident response, privacy, information governance and data compliance. By combining operational expertise with legally defensible procedures and industry-leading technology, we deliver reliable, innovative solutions to meet each of our client’s unique needs and challenges.

What we are looking for

As a result of continued growth & demand for our services, we are expanding our FTS team in Southeast Asia and Australia (SEAA). We are looking to hire multiple candidates at all levels (including Analysts & Associates, Managers & Senior Managers,  Directors & Senior Directors, Managing Directors) to help build our SEAA FTS team, based in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

You will be working with one of the most experienced and largest dedicated Forensic Technology teams in Asia Pacific. As part of the broader SEAA division, DI FTS staff are integrated & work seamlessly alongside 100+ colleagues across our Performance Improvement & Restructuring practices, providing our Clients with integrated solutions and approaches to address an array of increasingly complex & interlinked challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with team members in information gathering approach and ensure all relevant sources of information are pursued
  • Guide and lead client interviews, ask inquisitive questions and understand different stakeholders’ perspective
  • Identify knowledge gaps, guide the team to challenge status quo, validate, disprove and/or develop better assumptions
  • Identify key business challenges, accurately forecast financial performance and liquidity needs, pinpoint operational process inefficiencies and assess the organization’s design, roles, and team
  • Ensure issues and opportunities are clearly and concisely presented
  • Ensure that project approach, timeline and deliverables are logical, reasonable, and accurate
  • Set and communicate client’s expectation consistently
  • Identify risks and obstacles early on, create contingency plans and communicating timely with client
  • Ability to own and complete multiple workstreams simultaneously

We are seeking:

  • Experience with one or more areas of Computer Forensic collections, Digital Forensic Analysis, Electronic Discovery, Data Analytics and Cyber Security.
  • Possess a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Network Security or other related discipline or demonstratable equivalent experience
  • Possess a proactive attitude and high level of energy
  • Familiarity with data processing, document review, and production tools including Relativity, Reveal, ReadySuite, Nuix, and FTK
  • Sound technical understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and best practices in forensic collection, analysis, and review
  • Working knowledge of forensic tool suites including Magnet Forensics AXIOM, OpenText EnCase, and Cellebrite UFED, Physical Analyzer, and Inspector
  • Quantitative skills including experience with SAS, Stata, Python, R, Power BI, or SQL
  • Training and/certifications from industry organizations or vendors (i.e., Relativity, Reveal, GFCE, EnCE, CISSP), and/or other relevant professional certifications
  • Willingness to travel
