Responsibilities

The Central Asia practice is growing rapidly and is now looking for a Financial Analyst to assist the team with the financial accounting and balance sheet reporting, month closing, intercompany reconciliations and the tax filings. The role reports to the Finance Manager and works closely with our wider EMEA Team.

From the beginning, you will work in a fast-growing and dynamic team to:

  • Prepare projects and financial models and develop the calculation methodology;
  • Prepare and update company’s financial and economic models and evaluate business scenarios;
  • Control budget execution at all levels: contract, project, business unit, branch, reporting to management;
  • Assist with the timesheets control and utilization forecast;
  • Take part in month close process, generate plan/actual analytical reports and investigate deviations;
  • Control over the correctness of costs allocation, including intercompany;
  • Prepare cash flow and collections forecast;
  • Management accounts analysis and control;
  • Participate in preparation of the Business Plan and Budget;
  • Participate in internal and external audit of the company in accordance with IFRS;
  • Assist with the financial analysis and processing of ad-hoc requests; and
  • Assist with the day-to-day collaboration with HQ finance team.

Requirements

We are looking for people who have:

  • min 2-3+ years experience in Finance as Finance Manager, Finance Analyst, Financial Controller or Accountant in multinational company is a must;
  • Degree from a top-tier university with a specialization in relevant fields (economics, finance);
  • Mastery in Excel, knowledge of Tableau is an advantage;
  • Good understanding of IFRS policies and principles;
  • Strong analytical capability;
  • Fluent English;
  • Business-driven mindset with strong communication and influencing skills;
  • Result oriented approach, ability to work independently and try different approaches;
  • Experience in building budget models and project models from scratch using Excel with different levels of consolidation (projects/business units/legal entity);
  • Ability to visualize the results of calculations and analyses in PowerPoint or other software;
  • Experience in accounting will be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of transfer pricing principals is an advantage; and
  • ACCA or CIMA is a plus.
