Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) as one of A&M’s core competencies advise clients in improving profitability targets and leading clients out of strategic and operational crisis situations in a sustainable manner.
Within CTS the Industrials function is dedicated to driving top and bottom-line impact of clients in various industries. Whether in an advisory capacity or in an interim C-Suite role, our team of outstanding industry specialists and strategic consultants works to develop and implement operational performance improvement solutions to achieve excellent results.
As a Director / Senior Associate (m/f/d) you will manage the following key responsibilities, supported by the European Corporate Transformation Services team specifically in Industrials like Automotive, A&D, Engineered Products, Chemicals and Energy:
Large-scale transformation and restructuring
Pre-deal commercial and operational M&A advice
Carve-out and post-merger integration
100-day improvement plan, quantified EBITDA / cash improvement and its implementation
Broad functional expertise e.g., in finance, sales, purchasing, supply chain, S&OP, production, R&D
Requirements:
The ideal candidate would possess a strong passion for (large-scale) transformation. Experience & abilities will depend a little on the focus but are likely to include:
Consulting experience, preferably at a top-tier strategy or management consulting firm
Demonstrated history of achievement and progression within a consulting firm, showcasing a dedication to professional growth and excellence
Initial rapid diagnostic into a company's immediate and future major operational issues, product profitability, cost base, manufacturing processes and options for performance improvement
Gathering and analyzing data, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing recommendations for presentations to client management
Track record of devising and implementing innovative operating models to enhance overall business operational performance
In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following industries: machinery & equipment, automotive, OEM supplier, industrial automation, metals and mining, aerospace & defense, energy, etc.
Having practical industry experience beyond consultancy is regarded as a valuable asset
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German at business level.
