This is a fantastic opportunity to join Alvarez & Marsals established Restructuring team and use your data Analytics skills to assist clients. We work with multi-national companies, high profile investment banks and Global and European private equity houses and their portfolio companies.

Projects can include both Restructuring & Performance improvement situations & tasks can include:

• Advanced analytics, Big Data, optimization of business processes using data tools
• Data diagnostics, cost optimization, technological change
• Personnel productivity analytics and performance improvement
• Business process optimisation and digitalisation

We are looking for an experienced professional to work in complex client engagements including analytics strategy and transformation, RPA and Intelligent Automation and Data Visualization, as well as the creation of spend cubes and profitability trees. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an innovative team to apply state-of-the-art analytics to real world business challenges.

Requirements include:

Academic and languages:

• Strong academic record including a degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, engineering, statistics, economics or applied mathematics
• Native Greek and fluent business level English is essential. Additional European language skills including French, Spanish, German or Italian are highly desirable

Data Analytics:

• Experience in Relational Databases/SQL, including working with large datasets
• Experience in Power BI (required). Any other data visualisation tools: e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, and similar are desirable
• Programming skills in Python (required). Any additional languages such as: R, VBA, SPSS or similar are desirable
• Conduct the full lifecycle of analytics projects (including pulling, retrieving, manipulating, and exporting data) from concept through to design and execution
• Experience automating data analysis processes using Python or other tools (Blue prism, automation anywhere etc)

Corporate restructuring & transformation:

• Experience in applying data analytics in corporate transformation, operational turnaround or other similar projects (eg. cost savings, spend cubes analysis, profitability analysis etc)
• Understanding of financial statements and analysis
• Ability to support and enhance business process automation engagements

Other skills:

• The successful candidate will be a problem solver and a data expert with hands on experience of data analytics gained at a leading consulting firm or in industry.
• Written and verbal presentation skills
• Ability to translate complex data concepts and statistical data results into simple to understand business language.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
