Our Reward & Employment team has continued to grow working with high profile clients along the way. The team is now looking to further expand the Reward group at Manager level. The ideal candidates will have experience working on transactions and will be bright, diligent, action-orientated, and hands-on. The team is currently spread across London, Manchester and Glasgow and has developed into a close knit and supportive group who are committed to delivering exceptional client services.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Manager within Reward, you will:

  • Advise a wide range of clients on all tax (UK and international) aspects of employee remuneration, particularly Management Incentive Plans

  • Review equity incentive aspects of private equity and corporate transactions, including transaction and equity incentive plan structures across multiple jurisdictions

  • Complete due diligence on transactions

  • Design and implement share and cash-based management incentive plans

  • Assist clients with compliance and reporting requirements

  • Manage client calls to understand critical areas of importance and apply technical knowledge to specific client situations

  • Create deliverables that are concise, complete and address the elements deemed important by the client

  • Clearly communicate work plans, project objectives, and timelines to multidisciplinary project teams

  • Build client relationships and demonstrate a working knowledge of client businesses; with opportunity to assume additional responsibility quickly

  • Provide leadership, develop, mentor, and motivate our Analyst and Associate team members by actively participating in their advancement through on-the-job training, providing performance feedback, counseling, and fostering our team-based atmosphere

  • Manage multiple projects, client engagements and budgets simultaneously and efficiently. Participate in the billing and collection process

  • Assist with business development, including add-on work by creating business development resources and proposal materials

Qualifications:

  • CTA qualified

  • A number of years experience in UK Reward Tax

  • Exposure and willingness to work on due diligence client engagements (advantageous)

  • Prior proven experience leading and managing work streams and mentoring junior staff

  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to establish credibility and influence clients

  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines

  • High motivation to learn and grow

  • Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills
