Our internal finance team within our North American Commercial Restructuring practice is looking for a Sr. FA to join the team, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist leadership in preparing annual budget and mid-year forecasts.
  • Identify drivers of results and suggest creative solutions to improve results.
  • Proactively monitor P&L activity, providing variance analysis relative to benchmarks
  • Monitor accuracy and timeliness of client billing, collections of receivables, and support year-end collection activities.
  • Identify financial and operational KPIs and develop dashboards to drive accountability for performance throughout the firm.
  • Support leadership in annual year-end compensation process.
  • Assist finance operations team with conversion of existing databases and excel-based reporting to more efficient and automated tools.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for leadership meetings.
  • Liaise with our corporate finance organization to obtain data and analysis in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Partner with other business units to share best practices and benchmarks across the firm.
  • Ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • 3 - 6 years of relevant business experience in Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis or similar area
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Initiative and sound judgment to make appropriate and timely decisions.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the financial impact of business decisions.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel; VBA knowledge a plus
  • Experience working with data analytic tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau or other BI tools.
  • Positive attitude and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
  • Must be able to multi-task, to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to work independently or with a team

The salary range is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.  Please ask your recruiter for details.
