Alvarez & Marsal’s is seeking a talented SQL Developer to join our technology team. We are looking for a candidate who can design, develop, and maintain code base for data warehousing, ETL and other SQL based development. The SQL Developer will also be responsible for data modeling, DEVOPS, meta data management, error handling, and data quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft SQL, Azure Data Lake, SSIS, Power BI, Fabric, Power Flow, and Power Automate. The SQL Developer will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.  

 

How you'll contribute :

• Consult with clients and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the problems 

• Develop and maintain deployments of SQL and ETL code. 

Help design elegant solutions to some of the most challenging business problems 

• Design clean architecture designs with an emphasis on reusable components 

• Build efficient and explainable code 

• Test your work to a high standard 

• Contribute to all aspects of a project’s lifecycle: documenting requirements, solution development, system configuration, testing, debugging, and support

Qualifications :

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology  

• 1 to 3 years’ experience SQL and Azure Development and DEVOPS  

• A natural flair for problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work 

• A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes 

• Ability to learn and apply new technologies 

• Excellent communication and business writing skills 

• Strong organizational and time management skills

Compensation Statement: 

The annual base salary range is $100,000 - $110,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.  Please ask your recruiter for details.
