The Team

Our Disputes & Investigations (\DI\) team is pan European with teams in Geneva, Zurich, Paris, London, Munich, Frankfurt, Athens and Madrid. We have worked on some of the most significant, high-profile matters in the investigative and disputes area across many European countries and beyond. We are a leading provider of Forensic Accounting and Investigations, Forensic Technology, Dispute Advisory, Cyber Risk Management, and Privacy and Data Compliance services. We have an established reputation for high quality work in a non-Audit environment. Our approach is characterised by a high level of objectivity, diligence and intensive analysis.

The Role

As part of our expansion in EMEA, we are seeking a talented Forensic Accountant with expertise in Investigations at Senior Director level to support DI in EMEA and be based in Paris. The successful candidates will support a variety of investigations and advisory projects for our clients. You will:

  • Lead and contribute to a variety of engagements in France and internationally  
  • Use forensic accounting skills to investigate fraud and other financial misrepresentation
  • Take a key role in drafting reports and other client deliverables
  • Develop and suggest solutions to complex problems by thinking “outside the box”
  • Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management and clients
  • You will be encouraged to network internally with our other service lines and to participate in external marketing events

The Requirements

  • Solid track record of working in a forensic services team in consulting practice or similar
  • Demonstrable experience selling and delivering Investigations is essential at this level
  • Evidence of proactive business development is essential; a network of contacts is advantageous
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in combination with a positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation
  • Relentless and uncompromising attention to detail and quality
  • Self-starter with the drive to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to synthesise information from several sources and draw coherent, well-evidenced conclusions
  • Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken) is essential; other languages are of interest
  • Good written and oral communication skills

As you will have the opportunity to be part of international projects and work with clients across the world, the candidate should be willing to travel.
