Salary Range: $114,000 – $170,000
Job Description:
Work alongside other A&M professionals on the PEPI CFO Services team to provide accounting and financial reporting advice to clients on a wide range of transactions and events, including adherence to new or revised accounting standards and effective management of the financial reporting processes. Maintain up-to date knowledge of US GAAP with a technical understanding of accounting changes including revenue recognition and lease transactions. Provide clients with recommendations and conclusions on the application of complex accounting guidance. Prepare and review pre and post deal financial reporting including opening and closing balance sheets to meet contractual, regulatory requirements without interruptions to the standard business process. Investigate and remediate unexplained EBITDA volatility, unexpected financial results, or unreconciled accounts through advisory or interim management roles. Assist leadership in guiding clients through the IPO readiness journey by drafting SEC reporting and providing audit support. Participate in working capital disputes to favorable outcomes by managing the process through settlement or arbitration. Domestic travel approx. up to 50% of time.
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accountancy or a related field and minimum 2 years of experience in any occupation involving accounting or audit advisory. Experience must include: evaluating accounting treatments and providing financial analysis; performing audit testing; forecasting liquidity needs and financial/accounting process inefficiencies; identifying risks and creating contingency plans; and GAAP, IFRS, and statutory financial reporting. Must have CPA designation.
