Purpose of the Role:

We are currently seeking dynamic individuals for the Associate/ Sr. Associate position within our esteemed PEPI team. The ideal candidate will possess a successful track record in the infrastructure industry, combining operational, commercial, and consulting skills with an entrepreneurial mindset. As an Associate/Sr. Associate at A&M, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advisory assignments in both Pre and Post Deal scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the A&M brand and profile by delivering exceptional client assignments and effectively managing project teams.
  • Assist in managing a diverse range of projects, including operational/commercial due diligence, post-merger integration, performance improvement, transformation, and interim management.
  • Provide support in advising and implementing performance improvement programs for major corporations across various industry sectors.
  • Evaluate cost reduction and revenue enhancement opportunities, ensuring maximum value creation.
  • Assist in post-acquisition initiatives to realize operational due diligence objectives promptly.
  • Develop comprehensive methodologies for organizational clarity and ownership, particularly within the first 100 days of integration.
  • Collaborate with private equity-owned businesses to identify and implement strategies for financial and operational enhancement.
  • Address complex operational issues spanning manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, and purchasing.
  • Conduct rapid diagnostics to identify immediate and long-term operational challenges and opportunities.
  • Support private equity-owned businesses in assessing opportunities to improve financial and operating performance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing new operating plans to enhance business performance.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with leadership teams in high-pressure environments.
  • Familiarity with the private equity industry, particularly experience with private equity-backed portfolio companies in infrastructure, clean energy, or utilities sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of transformation, post-merger integration, and due diligence processes, preferably gained from a top-tier consulting firm or 'Big 4' consultancy.
  • Experience in international operations, including manufacturing, supply chain management, purchasing, and logistics.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering major assignments at both pre and post-deal stages.
  • Understanding and execution of LEAN production or services principles.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites across Europe.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Business-level fluency in English.

Desirable:

  • MBA, promotion, or financial qualification.
  • Proficiency in additional European languages.
