About our A&M Valuations Group  

 Our Valuation & Business Modelling Services business is a dynamic and fast growing business. We have established teams across the globe and we are unrestricted by any conflict with audit mandates and the resulting issues caused that are typical in many of our competitors. We are also able to operate cross-border seamlessly. 

 A&M Valuations provide a full suite of valuation services in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity portfolios, Contentious Valuations, Complex Financial Instruments and Illiquid Securities.  All of our teams are expanding, and we have established A&M as one of the leading providers of Valuation services globally and the leading firm to develop an international career in Valuations today. 

 Due to increasing demand, we are seeking a Managing Director to launch our Valuations practice in the Middle East. The successful appointee will be a highly regarded & experienced valuations professional, and they will play a key part in client project delivery, business development and team building. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and develop the Middle East Valuations practice, including recruiting, training and coaching team members 
  • Work closely our Managing Directors in the Middle East and across the region on business development activities including proposals, pitches and networking 
  • Lead multiple and complex Valuation engagements whilst collaborating closely with a range of industry leading specialists across different teams 
  • Use a variety of tools to conduct extensive data analysis and valuation modelling 
  • Conduct research, synthesize information and develop reports 
  • Contribute to the development of the wider team through the provision of formal and informal training. 

  

Typical projects will include; 

  • Fairness Opinions and Commercial Valuations 
  • PE Portfolio Valuations 
  • Alternative Investments 
  • Complex Financial Instruments 
  • Intellectual Property Valuations 
  • Valuations for Disputes & Litigation 
  • Financial Reporting Valuations (IFRS, US GAAP).
  • Tax Valuations 

  

The successful candidate will be a high-energy business leader with excellent Valuation skills and a track record of execution success. They will also bring proven ability in leading a successful practice group within a major advisory firm. Their client network will extend across sovereign wealth funds, global and regional private equity firms, multinational corporations and family offices in the Middle East and internationally. 

  

The ideal candidate will have; 

  • Senior level experience in Valuations gained at a Big 4 accounting firm or an independent advisory firm 
  • Well-developed stakeholder management skills including managing key client relationships and expectations 
  • Experience providing valuation and modelling expertise across a variety of sectors 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Fluent business level English is essential. Additional language skills including Arabic are advantageous 
  • Ambitious, with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture
