The Team

Our Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is the largest transaction advisory practice outside the Big Four. Our award-winning practice includes over 1,000 professionals in over 40 offices across the United States, Middle East, Europe, Latin America, India, and Asia Pacific. We work for premium clients on a selection of deals sector-wide. Our Transaction Advisory team has established Alvarez & Marsal as one of the leading providers of financial due diligence globally and the leading firm to develop a fulfilling career in Transaction Advisory. How You Will Contribute

As a Manager/Assistant Director in our Transaction Advisory team in Paris, you will:

  • Work with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap Private Equity houses, corporate clients, and financial institutions providing broad industry exposure.
  • Lead projects reporting directly to the Managing Directors or Senior Directors.
  • Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams in France and across geographies, building broad international deal experience.
  • Gain exposure to senior members of the team in France and internationally, gaining ‘on the job’ learning and development in addition to established formal training.
  • Use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills, analyzing key drivers and valuation considerations that drive a transaction.
  • Work alongside A&M’s operational and commercial professionals in combined project teams, enhancing your understanding of the broader due diligence and wider deal process.
  • Be active in the external market, supporting and enhancing existing client relationships and developing new client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from a leading “Grande Ecoles” in Business and/or Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Big 4 trained with previous financial due diligence experience is essential.
  • Exposure to blue-chip Corporates and/or Private Equity is useful.
  • Fluent business-level English and French is essential. Additional European language skills, including Dutch, German, Swedish, Italian, or Spanish, are highly desirable.
