Infrastructure Practice

We pride ourselves on assisting our clients across the transaction lifecycle for core and core+ infrastructure asset classes.  We have a strong focus in core assets across energy, ports, airports, toll roads etc in addition to core+ focus on waste mgt, logistics etc.

We support investors and asset owners alike, in acquisition, carve-outs, mergers and value creation through due diligence services, separation planning and PMI programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities through a thorough understanding the asset classes and strength in developing the investor thesis
  • Creating compelling points of view on specific assets or markets to demonstrate clear value and differentiation for A&M services/right to win
  • Articulating clear value thesis for specific assets, identifying levers for value creation with an out-of-the-box mindset
  • Creatively identifying carve-out or portfolio strategies for investors or holders that demonstrate a high level of thought leadership to our clients
  • Leading due diligence processes for commercial and operational scopes across infra-asset classes
  • Executing carve-out & PMI programs for clients with a deep level of operational experience
  • Maintain a strong ecosystem of partners in infra-assets, funds & investment banks
  • Develop the practice and build capability for the future

 

Experience

  • 8-10 years experience in the infrastructure sector, including:
  • 3-5 years in deal flow either in infra fund or investment banking
  • 3-5 years of M&A experience with leadership of multiple acquisitions, divestments and/or mergers
  • Leadership or depth of exposure to multiple DD projects in the infra-asset classes (finance, commercial, operational diligences)
  • Operator experience in multiple sectors or material depth in one sector
  • Strong ecosystem of relationships across infra-assets, funds, banks
  • Worked across assets in Australia, New Zealand or regional markets
