Position Summary: The Campus Recruiting Senior Specialist (MBA) is responsible for overseeing and executing the recruiting strategy for A&M at several of our key campuses, and providing supplemental support to BU recruiters throughout the recruiting cycle. The role is critical to university hiring throughout the US, impacting all BUs and as such, requires cross-functional knowledge of A&M Services.  This person will partner with BU recruiting leads to plan, strategize and implement full execution of the campus events needed to meet hiring needs of the firm across all offices and BUs. This role will focus specifically on identifying MBA talent and will focus on candidates obtaining an advanced degree.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a university recruiting strategy at our focused MBA schools using knowledge of industry, previous recruiting relationships, knowledge of A&M services, geographical competitive landscape, and specific diversity objectives and opportunities
  • Plan, execute and oversee campus activities and events in person (on campus) or virtual that are inclusive of that strategy.  Activities may vary by campus and could include: career fairs, classroom presentations, information sessions, in-person or virtual office hours, meetings with student organizations, career services or faculty.
  • Manage, alongside Business Unit Recruiting Managers/Directors, school teams of alumni and practice professionals, informing them on A&M recruiting approach and providing guidance regarding relevant opportunities at A&M
  • Act as the primary liaison between key school contacts (career center professionals, key faculty members, student organizations), building strong relationships with external stakeholders to ensure strong delivery of recruiting activities and initiatives
  • Team with recruiting coordinators to post job requisitions and events through Handshake platform (or other school specific platforms); track and monitor RSVPs, attendance to events (when applicable) to identify key trends on successful events and positive ROI. 
  • Leverage additional internal event management tracking and CRM tools to analyze and summarize feedback on events, candidates, aide in interview selections with Business Unit Recruiting Teams, and to pre-identify candidates for additional upcoming events/opportunities
  • Participate in additional special projects and initiatives throughout the year in support of Campus Recruiting strategy including but not limited to large interview super-days, student group office visits, internship program planning, diversity conference planning and support, and sell events

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of recruiting, event planning, or professional services experience; prior MBA/Advanced Degree recruiting preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders; client service mindset
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects; excellent time management and organization skills
  • Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Excel (including creation and manipulation of pivot tables, development of charts and graphs) and PowerPoint (design, graphics, charts, graphs)
  • Ability to use data and analytics to report on results and influence decision-making
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in customizing a strategy to
  • Experience with ATS and CRM platforms, is preferred but not required
  • Self-starter, resourceful, with a creative and innovative mindset
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, varied environment and can manage changing priorities while meeting deadlines

The salary range is $95,000- $115,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.  Please ask your recruiter for details.

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
