Our Paris based Transaction Advisory Group is lead by twelve highly experienced and established Managing Directors and Senior Directors. The team has earned an exceptional reputation for excellent work & they are highly active in France, working for premium clients on high profile deals: large and mid-cap private equity, fast growth premium small cap deals, multinational corporates, and French LBO’s. Their work comprises French situations and cross border activity in addition to international situations around the world.

A&M TAG have a unique delivery model that enables junior members of the team to gain extensive exposure to Managing Directors and Senior Directors thus empowering individuals to fast track their careers and development.  We are expanding, and we are looking for experienced and ambitious Interns to join our Transactions Advisory team in Paris for six months.

The successful Intern will:

  • Join a growing team with strong leadership, bright, energetic people with a truly entrepreneurial spirit
  • Gain experience in M&A research and engagement support for our Transaction Advisory Group
  • Gain exposure to international projects on behalf of many of the most prominent organisations across worldwide
  • We operate as a Global team and the individual will also gain insight to projects in the UK and internationally.

The main tasks will include: 

  • Performing research on potential targets and helping prepare “points of view” documents on such targets
  • Assisting on managing intelligence on forthcoming deals, and working on targeting of private equity firms, private equity held businesses, and large corporates active in M&A
  • There would also be some scope to assist on financial due diligence assignments.

Requirements: 

  • Fluent business level in English and French is essential
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interest in a career within Transactions Advisory.
