Transaction Advisory Group

The Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is a subsidiary of A&M, an established leader in providing global leadership and advisory services to a variety of diverse industries. A&M TAG is seeking a Learning & Development professional to bring their energy, passion, and expertise to help our client service professionals develop the skills they need to get the deal done. TAG provides private equity and corporate clients buy side and sell side financial accounting due diligence. TAG professionals actively engage in assessing a target’s quality of earning, analyzing cash flows, reviewing working capital, identifying key business drivers, reviewing forecasts, and conducting comprehensive discussions with management and their advisors.

What will you be doing?

As a Learning & Development Program Manager, you will drive the Global L&D strategy within your region, North and Latin America, through the program management lifecycle in partnership with the Learning Architect/Lead and executive stakeholders. You will use your experience in working across a matrixed organization to drive the design, develop, and delivery best-in-class and bleeding-edge learning solutions including compliance, registration, and communications. In partnership with the Learning Architect and the Global Chief Learning Officer of TAG, you will work directly with the Global Executive Committee leaders in the practice to clarify business priorities and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with the Learning Architect and Global CLO, practice leaders and other stakeholders to recognize our L&D goals to support continued growth of the practice in your region

  • Own the relationship between the Corporate L&D function and Global TAG L&D towards collaboration and continuity

  • Own the TAG North and Latin America curriculum communication strategy towards creating a culture of continuous learning and feedback

  • Own the compliance process and unique CPD requirements by institution/country

  • Maintain all operations tied to budget and reporting

  • Perform as a stakeholder from Global TAG L&D organization in LMS administration with regard to curriculum maintenance and distribution as well as function, roadmap, and issue escalation.

  • Partner with and manage relationships with external vendors to ensure content and courses align with business needs

  • Articulate the value, impact of the curriculum recommendations and how to deliver in the most operationally efficient methods

  • Measure the effectiveness of learning and development solutions, track participation/engagement towards impact across the population, and calculate ROI.   

  • Generate requisite reports to enable data back curriculum modification and communication strategy refinements

Who will you be working with?

You will join a Global TAG L&D function reporting into the Global CLO. As the lead L&D in TAG North and Latin America, you will work with the regional corporate L&D function, Global TAG L&D staff and consultants, and the TAG North and Latin America executive leadership team across 9 countries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of seven years of experience as a Program Manager, or comparable position, as part of a large L&D function operating in a matrixed professional services organization

  • Master’s Degree is not required, but preferred

  • Experience in an accounting or professional service firm is preferred

  • Experience managing multiple large-scale Program’s simultaneously

  • Full-cycle Delivery: Proven ability in delivering learning and providing input on logistical dependencies along each phase of the program delivery lifecycle (needs assessment through evaluation and re-design).

  • Experience with Transaction Advisory technical skills a plus

  • Knowledge, experience and continued curiosity in the most current thinking in the fields of cognitive neuroscience, technology, Data and Visualization, Automation, business development, and leadership development

  • Works collaboratively across a matrixed organization to execute on strategic initiatives

  • Ability to track and report metrics across the learning organization

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to include: demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues succinctly; create and conduct effective presentations; experience building strong client relationships while exercising influence to achieve desired results

  • Periodic travel required

Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The annual base salary range is $110,000- $150,000 dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.  Please ask your recruiter for details.
