I&CP is Global Practice with presence in NA, SA, Europe, ME, India and Australia. We assist our clients in capital-intensive and long-maturity projects through exclusive methodologies implemented by a team of competency leaders and industry experts. We work across project lifecycle focused around project performance improvement. We bring integrated vision of Financial, Technical and Regulatory to enable success. We work in areas of Captial Strategy, CapEx Efficiency, Integrated Project Planning, Supply Strategy, Construction Advisory, Transition to Operations, Asset Management, Portfolio Value Creation, Regulatory Advisory and Dispute Advisory.

 

Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful execution of projects, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring excellence in every client interaction.
  • Confidently manage meetings and presentations with both client and A&M leadership, demonstrating in-depth expertise and a command of the subject matter.
  • Proactively respond to project demands, anticipating critical actions and ensuring the success of key initiatives.
  • Play an active role in business development efforts, collaborating across teams and sectors to engage in proposals and foster new client relationships.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration between leadership teams to achieve strategic alignment and deliver outcomes that benefit all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to practice development, leveraging your expertise to support industry growth and innovation.
  • Cultivate and expand existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and working closely with leadership to translate them into tangible results.
  • Serve as a key liaison between staff and leadership, ensuring the dissemination of company culture and effective conflict resolution.
  • Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and collections to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in EPC, Project Management, and related sectors, with at least 5 years in consulting.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects in a multicultural, corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; a postgraduate degree in Management and/or Finance is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of capital projects in minimum 2-3 sectors such as Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Real Estate, Power & Renewable Energy, Chemicals, and Heavy Engineering.
  • Project management certification (e.g., AACE, PMI) is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%).

 

Key Competencies:

  • Strong technical expertise in the design, procurement, and execution of key technical packages within a capital expenditure environment.
  • Ability to collaborate and co-create innovative solutions and new business opportunities with clients.
  • Strong experience in supply chain management or project controls, with a deep expertise in costing and scheduling, coupled with a thorough knowledge of current industry best practices.
  • Proficient in project planning and controls tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project (MSP), quantitative risk management tools, Procure, Unifier, and other relevant systems
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
  • Sound decision-making abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and high-level stakeholders, both internally and externally.
