What we do

 

The Performance Improvement Practice works with Private Equity and Corporate clients in Singapore and all over the world. Our areas of expertise include pre-M&A due diligence, merger integration, post-M&A growth strategy, corporate finance advisory, organizational and cost transformation, supply chain digitization and manufacturing operational improvement, interim and crisis management, and CFO finance leadership. We differentiate ourselves by the result-driven approach, the hands-on mindset, and the ability to provide leadership amidst complex situations.

 

A&M is rapidly expanding in Southeast Asia and seeking to hire Directors with significant industry experience specializing in manufacturing. We operate across multiple industries including but not limited to precision manufacturing, semiconductors, automotive, consumer packaged goods, food processing, apparel manufacturing, etc.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director to join our healthcare consulting team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare operations and some experience in management consulting or as part of an internal strategy team. As a Director, you will lead client engagements, drive business development initiatives, and contribute to the growth and success of our healthcare practice.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement Leadership
    • Lead and manage multiple, complex consulting projects for healthcare clients, including hospitals, clinics, labs, diagnostic centers, etc
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, providing strategic insights and solutions.
    • Ensure high-quality project delivery that meets or exceeds client expectations.
       
  • Strategic Planning and Advisory
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve healthcare operations, financial performance, and patient care services.
    • Analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to inform client strategies.
    • Provide guidance on mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration planning.
       
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
    • Develop proposals, lead client pitches, with the support of Managing Directors.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships
       
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
    • Manage project teams, allocating resources effectively to meet project goals.
    • Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
       
  • Thought Leadership
    • Contribute to the firm's thought leadership by publishing articles, white papers, and speaking at industry conferences.
    • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in healthcare to inform consulting practices.

 

 

Qualifications

  • MBA, MHA, or equivalent advanced degree from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare, ideally a combination of industry/operator and consulting experience.
  • Proven track record of leading complex initiatives and delivering measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare systems, operations management, and regulatory environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and project management tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for client engagements.
