Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory (CMAA) is part of A&M Transactions Advisory Group (TAG). Our Transaction Advisory Group is an award-winning practice that includes over 1,000 professionals across 40 offices on five continents. As part of CMAA and TAG you will work for Private Equity, Hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, corporate clients and Family offices around the world. As a team CMAA takes on a wide range of assignments within our three main services lines: 1) IPO readiness, 2) Accounting advisory and 3) Governance risk and compliance for listed companies.

The role
Our Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory team assists boards, management teams and company functions in addressing the challenges faced in today’s evolving capital market’s environment. Our team provides support in every stage of the IPO process to help companies overcome barriers before, during and after an IPO. In preparing for an IPO our team provides an integrated and holistic approach to governance, risk management and internal control as well as financial management and transformation, reporting and accounting.
Our team helps ensure that the high expectations and requirements on listed companies are met by improving risk management, enhancing governance structures, financial reporting infrastructure, strengthening finance organizations, building internal control structures as well as selecting and implementing reliable technology and information security structures.
CMAA is growing and as we are continuing to expand our established Nordic team in Stockholm, we are seeking Senior Associates and Managers that are looking to take the next steps in their careers and are intrigued by the dynamics and fast pace of the capital markets.
As part of our highly skilled team you will;
Support listed and non-listed clients in capital market related questions
Support board of directors, management teams and corporate functions such as finance setting and implementing governance structures as required of listed companies.
Support our client’s management and finance teams with financial planning and follow-up in accordance with listing requirements, e.g. target setting and KPIs, business planning, budgeting and internal monthly reporting follow-up
Provide support with the establishment and implementation of enterprise risk management framework
Support our clients with designing and setting an internal control framework, including risk analysis over financial reporting and identifying key financial processes and internal controls.
Provide support with financial reporting preparations, e.g. annual reports, interim reports, Prospectus financial information, incl. working capital statements and pro forma financial information
Support our clients in ESG and sustainability readiness – CSRD, governance and organizational structuring, processes and reporting
In addition, the successful applicant will also;
Work with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions providing broad industry & client exposure
Contribute to and lead projects and work streams reporting
Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams in Nordic and across geographies and build broad international deal experience
Network with our service lines and work on external marketing events to build cross-service line relationships

Qualifications
A degree in Business, Finance or Economics – Bachelors or Masters degree
2-5 years working experience
Work experience from transaction advisory services, management consulting, external audit working with listed companies, risk and internal control consulting, internal audit or similar
Experience within audit or advisory services at a leading accountancy firm
Technical accounting skills and working knowledge in IFRS, Swedish GAAP and/or ESMA regulations.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with an ability to assimilate easily into teams.
Proactive in identifying client needs and effective in building a strong relationship with clients.
Excellent consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, client presence, facilitation and presentation skills.
High energy with commitment to quality client service, focusing on ensuring positive resolutions to conflicts.
Word, Excel and PowerPoint
High proficiency in English and Swedish (both written and orally) is essential. Other European languages are highly desirable.
