Work on a broad range of complex advisory projects within the Energy sector including upstream, midstream, downstream or oilfield services. Deliver operational, consulting, and industry expertise to client management and investors seeking to accelerate performance, overcome challenges and maximize value. Oversee the quality of deliverables and lead engagement teams to deliver results. Apply expert knowledge of oil, gas, liquefied natural gas and liquids to advise clients in the sector. Provide operational performance improvement; operations planning; merger and acquisition integration planning and execution; divestiture and carve-out planning and execution; terminals and pipeline systems; marketing, trading, risk, and contracting; cost accounting, product costing, and profitability analysis; lease record management and division orders; and systems implementation and integration. Perform a thorough fact-based analysis, assess state of operations, identify key risks to investments and quantify potential EBITDA improvement plans. Identify performance gaps and potential improvement opportunities (e.g., cost reduction and/or revenue enhancement), assess carve-out issues and associated one-time and recurring costs, and identify risks and/or synergies. Domestic travel up to approx. 50% of time.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and minimum 5 years of management consulting experience. Must have experience working with the following: analyzing and developing solutions to complex problems within the Oil & Gas sectors; upstream services and equipment; oil, gas, liquefied natural gas and natural gas liquids; operational performance improvement; leading operations and operations planning; M&A integration planning and execution; organizational design and operating model; product costing and profitability analysis; performance gaps identification, cost optimization and opportunities quantification; and process implementation and integration.
