Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our Inclusive Diversity team. The manager will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical support for the team with an emphasis on talent attraction while also fostering collaboration across the Global People Organization.

This role requires a critical thinker with exceptional organizational and communication skills, attention to detail and capability of managing multiple projects across various stakeholder groups. A successful candidate will have strong project management skills and the ability to work independently.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the North America Inclusive Diversity team in executing the Inclusive Diversity strategy.
  • Collaborate across the Global People Organization and serve as an advisor to Business Units in implementing the Inclusive Diversity strategy.
  • Support A&M’s Employee Resource Groups in their strategic and operational expectations.
  • Serve as a talent attraction liaison to Business Unit People Partners and Talent Acquisition Leaders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external organizations and stakeholders. Including but not limited to NABA, ALPFA, Ascend, ROMBA and MBA Veterans. Identify new potential partnerships that align with business unit hiring strategies.
  • Collaborate with TA team to determine appropriate representation and participation at regional and national conferences.  
  • Leverage data and insights to identify areas of opportunity that enhance the employee experience and drive engagement.
  • Provide project management support by developing clear workplans and timelines, completing projects on time and communicating status to leadership.
  • Proactively communicate effectively and efficiently to all levels of stakeholders.
  • Conduct final quality review of deliverables.

 Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, diversity, equity, and inclusion, communications and/or project management.
  • Ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders and foster collaborative relationships regardless of job level.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent communication skills, professional maturity, a client service mindset and can build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates initiative and can manage multiple, competing priorities with attention to detail.
  • Proven history of meeting deadlines and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions.
  • Passionate about learning and seeks out opportunities to understand others' experiences, perspectives and differences.

Qualifications 

  • A bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university.
  • Experience in large, matrixed and global organizations preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint, as well as the ability to adapt to new software programs.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Benefits Summary:

Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. Compensation Statement:

The salary range is $115,000 - $130,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.  Please ask your recruiter for details.
