Our Valuation Services business provides a full suite of valuation and modelling services for financial restructurings, contentious valuations, Mergers & Acquisitions, illiquid securities, private equity portfolios, complex financial instruments and financial and tax reporting. Our European Valuation Services team (London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris and Madrid) work as one joint team, with continuous peer interaction between our six European locations, weekly European-wide update calls and regular social events combined with seamless cross-border staffing on large international projects.

Due to our freedom from audit restrictions, high-quality work and ability to respond quickly to client requirements, we are expanding rapidly. An opportunity exists in our Amsterdam office and we are looking for an Analyst or Associate level professional to join our Valuation team.

Responsibilities:

• Work on diverse valuation and modelling engagements both in the Netherlands and across Europe
• Perform high-quality data and valuation analyses based on various valuation methodologies
• Engage in challenging modelling engagements, including the preparation of deal models and business plans
• Write client reports and other deliverables for high profile assignments
• Build relationships with clients through exceptional day-to-day project management and execution
• Gain exposure to senior members of the team, leveraging on their substantial experience to learn on the job in addition to formal technical and soft skills training programs offered by A&M globally
• You will be encouraged to network internally with our other service lines and to participate in external marketing events

• Valuations in a Restructuring context
• Contentious valuations for Disputes & Litigation
• Commercial valuations for Mergers & Acquisitions
• Financial and tax reporting valuations
• Valuations for Alternative Investments
• PE Portfolio Valuations
• Complex Financial Instruments
• Intellectual Property Valuations
• Fairness and Solvency Opinions   

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in valuations and modelling gained at a Big 4 or other reputable consulting firm, investment bank or independent valuation firm
• Strong educational background and exceptional academic record, including a focus on Finance and/or Mathematics
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluent business level of English and Dutch is essential
• Ambitious with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture
