Who you’ll be working with

One of the top strategic focuses of the firm, the Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) practice is a rapidly expanding group with a strong foothold in large-scale transformations across all industries. CTS practitioners are entrepreneurial, open minded, high achieving, and collaborative individuals who go the extra mile and deliver gold standard work for their teammates and clients.  They are often leaders amongst their peers with the confidence to approach internal and external problems head-on and the grit to execute highly complex, value add initiatives in intense situations. What you’ll do                                                                            

We specialize in bringing the client along on the transformation journey from the initial engagement, through the assessment, and the final implementation to ensure success and sustainability of project initiatives. This approach often requires client partnering, rapid industry understanding, and tailoring methodology as it pertains to each client’s unique situation.

In addition to traditional project activity, you are encouraged to embody your entrepreneurial spirit with the autonomy to forge a path with connections to your personal network and proactively drive business development at all levels.

Preferred qualifications you’ll need

  • 3 – 15 years of consulting, industry experience, or combination of the two, prior Big 4 or major strategy firm a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance preferred, advanced accounting degree or MBA a plus
  • High level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence with ability to identify and diffuse high energy conversations, encourage collaboration, and drive teams to desired outcomes
  • Experience in assessments to identify improvement opportunities across revenue, cost and / or working capital
  • Experience in driving sustainable growth in high impact environment
  • Experience understanding assessment findings and managing implementation and deployment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to exercise executive-level judgement
  • Known for synthesizing and presenting findings and key messages for executive-level presentations
  • High energy work style, flexible, and ability to adapt to changes
  • Experience creating gold standard presentations (MS Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable with travel

The salary range for Consultant is $90,000-$140,000 annually, Manager is $125,000-$190,000 annually, Director is $150,000-$225,000 annually and Senior Director is $175,000-$275,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.  Please ask your recruiter for details.

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
